Cleaning the

Print Head

Periodic cleaning improves print performance.

Whenever new labels are loaded, the print head

should be cleaned with a cleaning pen.

Step

1

Open the print head carriage.

Step

Wipe the pen across the print head.

Step

Let the print head dry for one minute

Step

Close and lock the print carriage.

If necessary, use a lint-free cloth very lightly

moistened with water to clean the platen. Avoid

using alcohol on the platen. Let the platen dry

for several minutes before loading labels.
