7Installation of the LP2824 Plus Printer

Network Model

For the network model, we will begin by installing to one computer so that we can then configure the

network properly to detect and utilize the printer properly. For this printer you will need USB and

CAT5e cables.

Note: The USB Cable is only needed until the network conguration has been completed.

1. Plug the Power cord and AC Adapter together.

2. Plug the AC Adapter into the printer.

3. Plug the CAT5e cable into the printer and the network port.

4. Plug the USB cable into the printer and the workstation.

5. Start from the closest workstation and log into Windows as Administrator.

6. Insert the Zebra Specialty Printing Solutions CD.

7. Double-click [My] Computer | CD-ROM | Software | ZebraSetupUtilities.

8. Double-click setup.exe. The Zebra Setup Utilities Installation wizard will appear.

9. Click Next.

10. Check I accept the terms of the license agreement.

11. Click Next | Next.

12. Select Anyone who uses this computer (all users).

13. Click Next | Next.

14. Check I have read the information above.

15. Click Next.

16. Check Run Zebra Setup Utilities now.

17. Turn the printer on.

18. Click Finish. The Zebra Setup Utilities program opens.
