wlan.preamble

type: getvar; setvar

This parameter selects the radio preamble length to be used.

This parameter is not supported on units with a Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) radio.

getvar result Current preamble length.

Example

Description This command instructs the printer to retrieve the

current preamble length

Syntax ! U1 getvar “wlan.preamble”

Result “long”

setvar choices

“long”, “short”

Default “long”

Example

Description This command instructs the printer to set the

authentication type to short

Syntax ! U1 setvar “wlan.preamble” “short”

Result The preamble length will be set to short after power

cycle
