Light Status Indication
Off Printer turned off or no power is applied.
On Power applied and turned on.
Off Normal printer operation.
On Printer stopped all printing operations
Flashing
In peel-off mode, the PAUSE light flashes when the label is available
for removal. In all modes, flashes when initializing FLASH or PCMCIA
memory.
Off Normal printer operation (no errors).
Slow flashing
“RIBBON IN” warning, “HEAD UNDER TEMP” warning, or “HEAD
OVER TEMP” error
Fast flashing “HEAD OPEN” error
On “PAPER OUT,” “RIBBON OUT,” or “CUTTER JAM” errors
Off Normal printer operation (no data being received or processed).
One flash The CANCEL key is pressed and a format is successfully canceled.
Slow flashing The printer is unable to accept more data from the host.
Fast flashing The printer is receiving data.
On
A complete format has been received and there has been no
subsequent data activity.
Note • The ribbon supply spindle in your printer is a "dual tension" variety. Most
applications require the spindle to be in the "normal" position. The "low tension"
position is recommended only when wide ribbon is used and normal tension
hampers the ribbon movement.
